The Library is open on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evening or by obtaining the key from the church office during their regular hours.

                Looking in the Library

 Did you know?

 That in your CPC library treasure can be found; treasure to bring you information you need to know, or just simply joy.  

One of the most used sections is that of the children’s books.  Let us all be like the children and come and see.

 Did you know: than t we have a huge selection of Christian audios and videos?  Come and see.  They are in the cabinets over the ledge in the library.  

Did you know:  that in the green dots lies exciting challenges in your Christian understanding.  (The green means growth.)  Come and see; be challenged to grow!  

Did you know:  That the blue dots are for parenting and marriage enrichment?  The blue can be appropriate for something that is puzzling or problematic.  There are books on parenting,    step-parenting, marriage enrichment, caring for elderly parents, even recovery from divorce if none of the others have worked for you!  Come and see.  

Did you know:  that there are two sections devoted to care ministry for others, long term illness, death and dying, grief and mourning, and recovery.  Come and see:  be comforted or be of comfort to others. (Double red dots and black dots)  

Did you know that there is a shelf of books on the life of Christ?  They are Son-shine yellow. Naturally!  

Did you know there are wonderful Christian books for middle schoolers and teen/young adults?  Some are just for fun reading; others are for mental stretching and growth for mature readers.Come and see: bring your entire youth group!  

Did you know: that the reference section has books not only guaranteed to enrich Bible Study classes, but also apologetics in case Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or rebellious teens in your home, appear at your door. Come and see: come away with knowledgeable responses.  Don’t let them twist you into a doctrinal pretzel that they created.  

Did you know that in the brown dots, and also green dots, there are books by make-you-think authors such as Ravi Zacharias, David Jeremiah, Philip Yancy, Chuck Colson and others that would make wonderful Sunday school class topics.  Come and see: become inspired to teach and share with others!  

And of course, the dull (not really!) orange dots are books are just fun reading. There’s a lot of series such as the Mitford Series, Frank Perretti series,  The Mega-Millennium series, the Left Behind series---and more!!!!!  Come and see!!!  Leave your busy, busy world, sit a spell and read, and come away refreshed!!!!!
