Developing Your Spiritual Life- Every person has a spiritual gift within them, but many people don't know that or have any idea how to develop it - or for that matter, why they should! This summer Pastor Mary and Music Director Myra Wooden will be leading a 6-week series of classes to help you discover or more fully understand the spiritual part of you and then ways to develop it. The series begins on Wednesday, June 19, and if you plan to attend please call the church office to order the book you will need. Supper will be included if we have enough people signed up! 

Mission Trip 2013 -- TRIP TO THE AMAZON FYI - Due to the lack of response, the Mission Trip to Brazil has been cancelled for this year.

The Wednesday Men's Breakfast and Bible Study Group is giving Cathy Jorgensen (cook) and Bob Orr (teacher) a summer break. They will be meeting (sans Bible) for the next few months at 8:30 a.m. at Denny's on Williamson Blvd. beginning May 22. All men are welcome! 

The June Supper Club event is on Thursday, June 13, at 5:30, at the Halifax Plantation Clubhouse. Call reservations in to Sue Garten. You won't want to miss this time of fellowship and delicious food!

A LOOK AT OUR SUMMER SCHEDULE

Summer is a busy time for everyone. Some people go north, some people go south, and everyone is so busy having fun. We don't want you to have fun all by yourselves, we want you to also be connected with your church family while having fun - so we have come up with Wednesday Night Connections.

One Wednesday a month we will have a Family Fun Night at which we will have a kid-friendly meal at 5:30 which everyone will enjoy. (Cost: $3 for adults, $2 for 5th grade and below, $10 family cap) After the meal we will have some kind of family activity. The first Connection Night (June 5) we will have a kickball game after dinner on the CPC grounds - the veterans (anyone over 21) vs. the Rookies (younger than 21). If you don't want to play, bring your lawn chair or blanket to sit and watch! Activities for the July and August Connection nights are TBA. Give Angela suggestions!

On June 12 we will have a Hymn Sing-along with Myra. You'll see in the June Clarion a place for you to turn in your choices of hymns for her to play while we sing! Most of the other Wednesday Night Connections will include dinner at 5:30-  IF we have enough interest- (adult - $7, kids $3 - ) then a class "Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts" led by Pastor Mary and Music Director Myra Wooden. We all have spiritual gifts, but some of us do not know what ours is nor how to use it to strengthen our faith life. The classes start on Wednesday, June 19, and if you plan to attend, please call the church office to order the book you will need.

412 Middle School group meets on Wednesdays and we would love volunteers to bring in snacks.

412 High School youth group meets on Sunday nights at 5pm and we can always use a yummy meal!
